Federico Guarascio is an Italian award-winning Producer and Editor based in New York City. After receiving his Bachelor’s in Historic Science from Roma Tre University and his Master’s in Journalism from Accademia Teatrale Silvio D’Amico in Rome, he went on to study in New York City. Federico studied Production at New York Film Academy, Editing at the Editing Center NY, and Media Production at City College of New York. He has co-produced narratives and documentaries that have been screened at the most prestigious film festivals in the world, including Robert Redford’s Sundance. Some of the international co-productions he has worked on, such as “Thy Father’s Chair” (2015), have opened theatrically in USA, Italy, and Spain, being recognized by The New York Times as one of the Critic’s Pick of the month.

Among his achievements, Federico holds a Certificate of Contribution from the National Academy of Television Arts and Science for his labor as the Producer to the New York Emmy winner reportage “Sure We Can.” Federico co-produced the feature documentary “The Fourth Kingdom” with the support of the Sundance Institute and the Documentary International Association. The film has gained international recognition at San Sebastian Film Festival and Shanghai Film Festival among others, winning as Best Documentary at Atlanta Film Festival, Krakow International Film Festival, and Documenta Madrid. “The Fourth Kingdom” was nominated for the Spanish Academy Awards and won a Catalan Academy Award. It was also reviewed by important publications such as The Hollywood Reporter and became one of the 149 contenders for the Oscars in 2019. Federico's work has been broadcasted at PBS, WNET, CUNYTV, The National Italian TV, and National Spanish TV among others.
